INTRO

EVO is a small pocket-sized radio control, which allows you to carry out remote, such as Total or Partial Insertion, Disconnection, Panic/ Robbery. There are also LED indicators, active signaling and confirmation of control. The battery is preinstalled, has a life of up to 5 years.

OPERATION

EVO works under the D’AVINCI system with a range up to 1500 meters (in free space) by connecting, via radio, directly to the Central Lisa or via repeater Automa. The communication is of the type bidirectional(transmission/reception) with the indication of confirmation of receipt and command. In the case of obstacles such as walls, objects, etc. the range is reduced.

The communication protocol, like the connections between all components of the system, is the GENIO, encrypted and protected from interception.
The configuration of the remote control is via D’AVINCI app , which can be downloaded free of charge from IOS and Android.

The remote control is capable of:
– Arm the system (or system) – by pressing the button
– Disarm the system (or system) in Stay mode – by pressing the
– switch off the system (or system) – by pressing the button
– Arm an alarm/rescue/actuator/scenario – by pressing the button

DEVICE CONFIGURATION IN THE D’AVINCI SYSTEM

Before adding a device:

    1. Install the app D’AVINCI, available for iOS / Android, on your smartphone.
    2. Create a account . Add a D’AVINCI control panel, save the necessary settings and create at least a room.
    3. Make sure the Control Panel is turned on and has Internet access via Ethernet.
    4. Make sure the Control panel is switched off and not running updates by checking its status via the mobile application.

To add a device to the control panel, in the D’AVINCI app  1

  1. Select the Tab Devices 2 
  2.  Click on Add Device 
  3.  Name the device
  4. Insert the serial number of the device shown on the label  or click on icon  to scan the code via the app.
  5. Select the associated Room for the device.
  6. Click Add – a countdown will start.

  7. PRESS any button

    The LED of the radio control will emit a blink.

    When paired with the control panel, it will appear in the list of devices in the AVINCI App.

    The connection request to the Control Panel is transmitted for a short period of time as soon as the device is switched on.

    If the connection to the AVINCI control panel fails, turn off the detector for 5 seconds and repeat the procedure.

1 Installer privileges are required.

2 To start the configuration procedure, the device must be within the radio communication zone of the associated Control Panel.

OPERATING SETTINGS

The detector settings can be changed in the D’AVINCI app:

  1. Go to device tab
  2. Select the device from the list.
  3. Go to settings by clicking on the icon

DEVICE NAME
Radio command name , display in the device list and as notification text.
It can hold up to 24 characters.

ROOM
Selecting the virtual room to which the device is assigned the environment name appears in notifications.
* Changing this parameter requires Administrator privileges

USE ARM BUTTON
Enables/disables the use of the insert button.

USE DISARM BUTTON
Enables/disables the use of the release button.

USE THE STAY BUTTON
Enables/disables the use of night mode (Stay) button

USE AUXILIARY BUTTON
Enables/disables use of auxiliary button

Auxiliary Button Function

  1. Panic: the button allows you to send a call and/ or make the sirens
  2. Enable the device: it allows to activate an actuator
  3. Enable Scenario: it allows to activate a scenario previously created 

ACTIVATE SIREN IF YOU PRESS PANIC
Activates the siren in case of alarm signalling by the button
antipanic.

EXCLUDE DEVICE
By pressing this button, the device is completely excluded from operation with the control panel.

REMOVE DEVICE
Disassemble the detector from the Control Panel, remove it from the app and clear the device settings.

DEVICE STATUS

The remote control indicates the status only after pressing a button.
The states show information and parameters of operation of the device.

To display status:

1. Access the D’AVINCI application
2. Select the control panel on which the remote control is associated
3. Go to the Devices tab
4. Select the device

Replacing the batteries

Keep the detector housing clean by immediately removing dust, cobwebs and other impurities. Use a soft, dry towel for equipment maintenance.
To clean the detector, avoid the use of substances containing alcohol, acetone, gasoline or other active solvents.

The battery life of the detector depends on the quality of the battery, the frequency of activation of the detector and the ping interval between detector and Central.

If the battery of the detector is low, the user receives a notification via D’AVINCI app.

Open the battery compartment on the back.

Lift the card to insert the battery.

Insert the battery.

Close the battery compartment.

WARNING AND MALFUNCTIONS

The functionality of warning and malfunction indication is enabled in the settings of device, selecting the field Signal lamp.
A malfunction appears if:
– The battery of the remote control is low
