INTRO

The VERSO universal transmitter is a module that allows you to associate a third-party sensor (NC/NO) within the D’AVINCI system. It transmits alarm signals, intrusion, fire, SOS, gas, flooding, etc. Provides a 3.3 V supply voltage to the sensor with two input terminals for alarm and tampering. The device for its own protection and equipped with an accelerometer that protects it from tampering.

OPERATION

VERSO works within the D’AVINCI system with a range of up to 1500 meters (in free space) by connecting, via radio, directly to the Lisa control panel or via Automa repeater. The communication is bidirectional (transmission/reception) with the indication of confirmation of receipt and command. In the case of obstacles such as walls, objects, etc. the range is reduced.

The communication protocol, like the connections between all the components of the system, is the GENIO, encrypted and protected from interception.
Configuration takes place via D’AVINCI app downloadable for free from IOS and Android.

The transmitter operates on two frequencies in the 868 MHz band, automatically and dynamically positioned on the one that is free or less interfered.

TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION

The Verso transmitter must be installed inside the body of a third-party detector. The board needs a minimum space of the following dimensions: 40 x 95 x 20 mm.
Connect the transmitter to the detector via the NC/NA contacts.

FUNCTION OF TERMINAL BOXES:

  1. TAMPER | Tamper terminal
  2. ALARM | Alarm Terminal
  3. +OUT-  | Power supply terminal (3,3 V DC)

Fix the device inside the sensor box (if availabe)

We recommend installing Verso using adhesive media.

Insert the 3 batteries on the transmitter

Press the ON/OFF power button

Do not install the transmitter:

  • Near metal objects or mirrors that may attenuate or block the radio signal.
  • Next to other radio devices (gsm/wireless router/etc.) to avoid mutual interference
  • In environments where temperature or humidity values may exceed the limits specified in the Technical Specifications.

Operating settings

The detector settings can be changed in the D’AVINCI app:

    1. Navigate to Devices
    2. Select the device from the list.
    3. Go to settings by clicking on the icon

ALARM MODE
Shows how the device reacts to alarms.

Instantaneous: the detector, with the system inserted, immediately signals the alarm

Delayed: the detector, with the system inserted, signals the alarm after a time counter (see input/ output delay).

Input delay: 5 to 120 seconds.
The entry delay is the time the user has to disconnect the system after entering the protected area.

Output delay: 5 to 120 seconds.
The exit delay is the time the user has to leave the protected area after entering.

– Continued: The detector adds input/output delays of devices that detected an alarm before it. When activated individually, it immediately triggers the alarm

ARMING STAY MODE
Pairing the detector  or associated device to night mode. This type of insertion allows, for example, to insert the perimeter area and allows people to move freely in other areas.

Input delay in stay mode: 5 to 120 seconds.
The entry delay is the time the user has to disconnect the system after entering the protected area.

Output delay in stay mode: 5 to 120 seconds.
The exit delay is the time the user has to leave the protected area after entering.

ALWAYS ACTIVE
If this option is enabled, the detector associated is always armed, detects the alarm condition and sends the signal to the control panel.

POWER OUTPUT MODE
Enables/disables the 3.3 power output for the associated detector

– Always enabled
– Enabled on insertion
– Always disabled

EXTERNAL INPUT USAGE
Enables/disables the use of external input

– External contact mode:

– normally open
– normally closed
